What Happens After Pharmacy Selection

After a pharmacy is selected, the prescription, prescription-transfer request or online consultation information is routed for the appropriate review.

The selected pharmacy verifies the prescription and confirms whether the requested medication can be supplied. A pharmacist may contact the patient or prescriber when information is incomplete or requires clarification.

The exact product, quantity, final price, pickup or delivery options and dispensing decision are confirmed before the order is completed.

Important Information

Searching by ZIP code or selecting a pharmacy does not guarantee medication availability or dispensing. A valid prescription and pharmacy review are required before prescription medication can be supplied.
