Facilities Director
James (Jim) Horan- is the Director of Facilities Support Services of Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County. Jim came to us in November of 2011 from Parkview Adventist Medical Center of Brunswick, Maine where he served as Director/Manager/Supervisor of Plant Operations. He started at Parkview as a carpenter in 1977 and proceeded to gain many licenses and proficiencies as he worked his way up the chain of command to become Director. He has his B.S degree in Industrial Technology from the University of Maine.
Jim has two adult children and one grandson, all living in Maine. He likes the wide-open spaces here in Wyoming and the freedom he finds in the ability to roam at will. He finds the people of Wyoming to be genuinely friendly and engaging with a real down-to-earth quality. He likes the outdoors in all seasons, enjoying skiing, camping, hiking and reading anywhere. “It’s a pleasure”, he says, “to be involved with this facility as it strives to fulfill its mission and expand its services to meet the needs of the community”.
